![]() ![]() Tales of Xillia 's reception in Japan was highly positive. The plot's central theme is Yuruginaki shinnen no RPG ( 揺るぎなき信念のRPG, lit. ![]() It follows Jude Mathis and Milla Maxwell who elude government officials after sabotaging a weapon of mass destruction known as the Lance of Kresnik. The game takes place in a fictional world called Rieze Maxia where humans and ethereal spirits live in harmony. The game was released in Japan on September 7, 2011, and was localized in North America and PAL region in August 2013. It is the thirteenth main installment of the Tales series and is developed by Namco Tales Studio with Namco Bandai Games as the publisher. Trust me this is the best thing you can do for yourself so you don’t waste time and sanity.Tales of Xillia ( Japanese: テイルズ オブ エクシリア, Hepburn: Teiruzu Obu Ekushiria) is an action role-playing game released exclusively for the PlayStation 3. Before doing major farming for mats right down a checklist of how many of each item you need, where to get it, and what enemies to get it from. Ludger doesn’t need his unsealed weapons since his devil arms are better: elite party colosseum, paying off debt, 50 bells. Personal recommendations: Only go for one sealed weapon per character, it massively reduces headache. The best armors work the same way as tier 2 weapons. To make it even easier turn the difficulty all the way down. I personally didn’t bother going for these till I had killed all the bosses to reduce hassle. When looking for these bring Leia for her steal since these can be stolen and equip weapons/skill that increase drop rate on everyone. The characters with such rooms are in italics or have an asterisks.įragrant Silver Scales: Jude*, Elize, Leia It is best to farm from rooms that are of the “spiral” type, as the enemies will continually respawn and you don’t have to deal with any time limits. Enemies holding these materials are on the "path" of a particular character in the second layer (in other words, after the first boss you fight). Some however are rarer and only appear in part two. Again most of these are no big deal as you will eventually have plenty of them from runthroughs killing bosses. ![]() Tier 2 require the corresponding tier 1 and mats from the ex dungeon. The tier 1 weapons require mats from normal mobs which you should have plenty of by this point if you didn’t sell them to help pay your debt. Those tier 2 are better versions of other craftable weapons (tier 1). Now each sealed weapon requires three other weapons (called tier 2 from now on) to make. The sealed weapons (1 from job board each and 1 from elite tag mode each) are arguably the best weapons in the game and can only be unsealed after you unlock the ex dungeon then visit the Nala Lava Tubes weapon shop if you haven’t already. I would bother about getting them in the desert though just try to complete the area. You get about 50% more for getting them in the correct order. To get the maximum from the light get them in the order of lantern, candle, torch EVERY TIME. You get bells from bosses, bacuras, and from collecting the lights before finishing a room. Another thing to note is that like the colosseum the shadows in part 2 weapons seem to mimic the weapons you currently have equipped for that character when you load the boss room(I had milla with the sword with 4 elements and shadow milla had it too then I fought her later with a different sword equipped and she had that one instead), but i’m not 100% sure about this.īells: You use bells for the shop at the entrance and the big prize is Ludger’s OP guns for 50. Repeats do occur (Jude, Milla) but they will have X1 outfits in part one and X2 outfits in part 2. They will always drop bells and some drop skills such as Jude’s and Gaius’s glory. Each character has two bosses, one in the 1st section and one in the 2nd. However outside of your last run you can only fight 2 boss fights per run. Also be prepared to send a lot of time here, I would suggest turning your volume down and putting on a music playlist so you don’t go crazy.īosses: There are 19 boss fights in total. I’m also assuming you can bring every character already and are familiar with how to use the in game item/enemy data section of the menu. The ex dungeon is quite involved and I’ll be going over what you should be focusing on while there: bosses, bells, and sealed weapon/armor mats.
